Technical Help / Troubleshooting:

The audio will be streamed as a DRM-free MP3 file. You can listen using any of the following software (and many other programs):

Hints/Tips:

  • There are two streams available - choose 'high quality' if you have a connection faster than a dialup modem.
  • We transmit the latest score as part of the stream. This should work in all software except Windows Media (which doesn't support metadata.)
  • If you use Realplayer - you can pause the live commentary and later resume where you left off, or rewind (use the clip position slider or the forward/rewind buttons) and hear something again. You will also see the score change in the title bar as you move the slider.

View latest score on your mobile phone:

If you are away from your computer at any time today and unable to listen to the commentary, you can check the latest score from your WAP-enabled mobile phone. Type the address mcc.sportslinemedia.co.uk/score.wml into your phone's internet browser. There is no cost for this other than any data charges that may be made by your mobile operator.

Twitter

As in 2007, we're also providing a Twitter feed of the live scores - this means you can get updates every over/few overs by SMS (free of charge, but now limited to 250 messages per week), or unlimited updates via Google Talk, AIM or Jabber. Twitter also provide an RSS feed (atom). The feed is still experimental to a degree and we can't guarantee it will work (or that the Twitter network itself will always be operational.)
